I had doubts about this before buying but had to get it cause my device really overheats. I never expected how well it works. It actually cools very efficiently. The cooling is not done as a direct result of the fan, there is a metal plate on the side facing the phone, the fan makes that metal plate very cold, and it prevents my phone from overheating. Now my phone can get slightly warm instead of getting dangerously hot like before. One charge lasted me 2 hours switching between speeds. use it on speed 1 (slowest speed) and it will cool and last over 2 hours. the funny thing is that it overheats while charging:D
