Check the memory module slot
Before purchasing, it is recommended that you check whether there are free memory slots on the computer motherboard and then decide whether to add memory modules.
Check the specifications (DDR3 or DDR4), frequency, and capacity of the memory module supported by the computer
① If you add a memory stick while the original memory stick remains unchanged, the specifications and frequencies of the old and new memory sticks need to be consistent. Inconsistent memory sticks will cause the two memory sticks to be incompatible, causing some computer malfunctions and failure to function normally run.
② If the computer motherboard supports DDR3 memory modules, you cannot purchase DDR4 memory modules. If DDR4 type is supported, DDR3 cannot be purchased. Because the two sizes are different, they cannot be used on the same motherboard at the same time.
Check how much memory capacity and frequency the slot supports
Please confirm the maximum capacity and frequency supported by the device's motherboard and CPU, and check the memory capacity and frequency supported by the motherboard's memory slot. If the memory capacity is too large or the frequency is too large, the motherboard cannot correctly identify it.
For example, if the maximum supported capacity of a computer device is 32G and the maximum frequency is 2666MHZ, then the total capacity of all memory modules in the computer device will not exceed 32G. If you use a 3200MHZ memory module, you can only display 2666 and cannot display 3200. This is not a problem with the memory module, but a problem caused by device limitations.
(When the capacity and frequency are consistent, it is recommended to use memory modules with the same capacity and frequency to avoid abnormalities)
